Uma Thurman turns singer

After acting, Uma Thurman is set to explore her singing ability with the television show " Smash".

However, the 41-year-old suspects it will be the first and last time she is asked to sing on screen.

"I do some singing, but not very well! I am probably not going to be offered a record deal off of this, but I enjoy it. It is so much fun. I get to do a number," showbizspy.com quoted Thurman as saying.

"Whenever you start to sing or dance you probably think you don't want to do it and then you start and you can't stop - even if everyone else wants you to," she added.
