Shahid Kapoor opts out of Punit's next

Shahid Kapoor has opted out of Punit Malhotra's next. Says a source close to the actor, "He had committed his dates to for Maneesh Sharma's film.

Maneesh got a slipped disc and now the film has been pushed to April. These dates were clashing with Puneet's film which couldn't be shifted. Shahid had no option but to opt out of it. Since the film's producer Karan Johar and Shahid are keen to work with each other they decided to work on another film soon instead." Incidentally Sonam Kapoor also had opted out of the film last month citing date problems.
