Anyway, may hay while the sun shines, dearies, for Malaika Arora Khan is all set to make a comback with Anarkali Disco Chali in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2, and choreographing this number is none other than the Munni Badnaam Hui choreographer Farah Khan!
When we contacted Malaika, she urged us not to make comparisons. "The song is peppy and sounds good. Munni Badnaam Hui... has become a cult song, this one, too, we'll try and make unique." So what preparations does Malaika do before she embarks on an item number? "Nothing at all," she tells us, "You go there, and dance! You do what the choreographer asks you to do, and have a good time!"
Tell Malaika, that it was her Munni number that helped Dabangg go that extra mile, and she humbly states, "It's very nice when people like your work. Dabangg was more than just Munni... It's a cult film!"
Farah Khan, on the other hand, is unperturbed at the comparisons. "Dance is my first love. We are going to have fun doing it. That's all I know as of now!" she says. Farah goes on to state that every actress is wonderful, but Malaika has an oomph that still rocks the industry!
