India beat Poland to set up summit clash with France in men's hockey Olympic qualifiers

NEW DELHI: India maintained their clean slate as they beat Poland 4-2 in their thrilling last round-robin match to set up a summit clash with France in their bid to qualify for London Olympics.

Poland, who needed a win or a draw against India to go through to the Olympic qualifiers final, could not hold on their early lead.

France made it to the final, with 10 points, as they finished second in the points table ahead of Poland who ended up on 9 points.
