That’s my dress, Bipasha: Ramona

Ramona Narang-Rodella's seeing red right now and it's all on account of her 'frenemy', Bipasha Basu.

The socialite whose line of Ibella frocks with their soft drapes and solid colours, is quite a hit with Bollywood's leading ladies has just got a dose of Bollywood's unprofessional ways. Sometime back, she said Bipasha's stylist approached Ramona for some pieces for the actor's upcoming promotional activity. "We don't usually lend our pieces for publicity use, but I know Bipasha personally, so I lent eight dresses." The stylist took a long time to give the gowns back saying that Bipasha did not use any of them.

Now that was that until Ramona opened the newspapers and saw her pink dress on the poster of "Jodi Breakers". Followed by photographs of Bips at a dance show in a green sari-gown, which Ramona immediately recognised as hers. "The sari-gown is from our latest line. I immediately called the stylist and asked her about it. If she used the dress, she should have paid for it," says the designer. Things got even more dramatic with the stylist claiming that the dress was Bipasha's own. When Ramona countered saying she had sold the only piece to a client in Dubai, the stylist produced two shabbily tailored Ibella copies, claiming they were the ones Bips had worn. After much tu-tu-main-main the stylist coughed up for one dress, while Bips herself ignored all of Ramona's calls and texts.
